100% Glamour for NYE

I have finally begun planning what the hell to do for New Year's Eve, so I guess I need to figure out something to wear now!  If your presence is not commonplace at black tie affairs, NYE is a great time to dress to the nines.

Some runway inspirations after the jump... and it will be heavy on Naeem Khan

It is not cold everywhere for NYE, so mini-dresses can be rocked for this night.  Some brave souls in colder climates may wear minis with tights and cropped fur jackets.

Dresses are not necessary for women, you can always rock separates that you can have in your daily wardrobe.  To add some flair, choose pieces with dramatic features, interesting textures, or rich fabrics.

Layering a sheer or lace fabric over a base is a gorgeous, glamorous look.  Some of the materials you may find that work well in this look is tulle, chiffon, and lace.    The lead photo in this post is from Naeem Khan's Spring/Summer 2009 RTW presentation.
