Thigh-high boots: motorcycle

So! It looks like Endless is having a sale!  The front page says that they take 25% off select "new fall" purchase for shoes and accessories over $100... I didn't explore it since I am on a ban :-(  Hopefully a lot of people can and have taken advantage before the offer expires!

It is still August, but funnily enough, there are TONS of thigh-high boots for sale.  These are still going to be worn with tights  for fall and winter.  For casual days out, I know that I would much rather wear tights than jeans because they are more comfortable.  Boots are very expensive, so now is the chance to take a percentage off.

Here are some of my favorite over-the-knee boots that are motorcycle boot inspired or  have a tough edge.

MIA "Tallulah": Tall leather shaft with two buckles and a sturdy high heel.  Simple, but sexy.

Dolce Vita "Donnie": This boot is flat, but has a wide one-inch heel like you would see on a classic Frye boot

Guess "Oriska": Girrrrrrlllll.....OK, this are like, sex on wheels! If you ever find yourself in a tussle with Lady Gaga on SNL, you want these shoes on your side, lol.  Although the look is dominatrix- inspired, a good tip in avoiding looking cheap, like a hooker, or like a poor dominatrix is to avoid fake leather and too-pointy toes.  Stick with real leather (or a good-looking faux SUEDE boot) and almond toes for the pointiest.  Oh, and no red boots, ladies.

Alejandro Ingelmo "Jillian": The leather looks absolutely smooth and divine. Currently on sale for about $440 from $800.

If you can't get any of these now, check again after Thanksgiving.  Since they are out so early (it is technically still summer, you know) they will probably go on sale while during the winter-time when more styles come out.
